Dear Heavenly Father,
Here we are. We stand at the edge of a new month with hopeful hearts. Summer is winding down and schedules are beginning to shift and dear Lord, help us to not cling too tightly to what was. We don’t know what’s ahead but we are certain of this- You go before us. Teach us to stay in pace with Your perfect will, Lord, and align our hearts with Yours.
In Jesus’ name, we give You our calendars and our chaos and our complete control-all of it. And, in exchange we receive what only you can give, perfect peace.
We come expectant of You, Lord. We welcome with open hands a new work even if it starts small.
Lord God, we thank You and we praise You.
In Jesus’ holy and precious name,

We’ve been praying and planning with a whole lot of holy scheming with one thing in mind…how can we lock arms with you on this faith journey and truly know you better?
So guess what? We’re pulling up seats at the table our Lord has prepared, right in our very own homes, and you’re invited!
Beginning in July, come hang out with us every LAST Saturday morning of the month.
Think of this gathering like your Saturday Manna of fresh and faithful provision straight from our Jesus. Our time together will nourish your spirit because let’s be honest, life can be messy and leave us running on empty. But we believe there’s beauty in the mess when we walk it out with Jesus and with sisters who truly get it.

The Breath of New Life: JBM’s Beginning.
Shea has always felt a deep pull toward something more in her ministry—a sense that God had bigger plans for her to step into. Over time, that pull grew into a desire to serve women in ways she realized she had missed in her own journey. She longed to create spaces where women could feel seen, encouraged, and surrounded by the kind of unified community she had once yearned for.
Shea’s heart was especially burdened to help women experience the depth of God’s love—not just as a concept, but in a way that truly transformed their lives. She thought about the times she had needed someone to come alongside her, speak truth, and remind her of the hope and power found in Christ. With these memories and convictions stirring within her, the idea for Just Breathe Ministries began.
This desire led Shea to organize her first event, called Just Breathe. That night, the pews were packed with women worshiping in song and leaning into God’s presence. Shea shared a message rooted in Ezekiel 37, the powerful story of God breathing life into dry bones. She spoke about how God can bring renewal and restoration to the desolate places in our lives. Her message was simple: all we have to do is trust Him and just breathe. As she looked around at the women connecting with the Lord, it hit her- this was exactly what God had been preparing her for all along. And that, my friends, was when JBM was born.

We extend a big ole southern welcome to you at Just Breathe Ministries, a place where we gather to embrace the divine truth that God breathes life into every corner of our journey. Come along with us!
Our ministry stands on three foundational pillars: Rest, Relationship, and Remembering. These are not just concepts but essential principles that assist us through life's challenges and joys.
Rest: Amidst the demands of life, we find solace in God's invitation to rest. Just as God rested on the seventh day of creation, He calls us to pause, allowing Him to rejuvenate our spirits. Within this space, you will uncover the beauty of finding rest in His presence and His word, releasing your burdens and discovering peace that comes only from Him.
Relationship: We believe that life gains richness through meaningful relationships, both with God and with one another. Just Breathe Ministries is a haven where these connections flourish. We create safe spaces to share your journey, uplift each other, and experience the power of unified community.
Remembering: The act of remembering is pivotal in our journey of faith. We recall God's faithfulness throughout history, in our own lives, and in the lives of those who have gone before us. Through remembering, we gather strength and courage to face the future with a living Hope through the saving grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We can trust that God's promises remain unwavering. He was faithful before and He will be faithful again.
Our anchor verses, Ezekiel 37:4-5 (CSB), are the heart of our ministry: "Then he said to me, 'Prophesy concerning these bones and say to them: Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Lord God says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will live." These verses serve as a gracious reminder that God's breath infuses life even into the most desolate places. Just as God breathed life into the bones, He breathes life into us through rest, relationship, and remembering. We can declare in confidence, "Dry bones, come alive!"
