We’ve been praying and planning with a whole lot of holy scheming with one thing in mind…how can we lock arms with you on this faith journey and truly know you better?

The Breath of New Life: JBM’s Beginning.
Shea has always felt a pull toward something more in her ministry. She had a deep sense that God had bigger plans for her to step into. Over time, that pull grew into a desire to serve women in ways she realized she had missed in her own journey. She longed to create spaces where women could feel seen, encouraged, and surrounded by the kind of unified community she had once yearned for.
Shea’s heart was especially burdened to help women experience the depth of God’s love, not just as a concept, but in a way that truly transformed their lives. She thought about the times she had needed someone to come alongside her, speak truth, and remind her of the hope and power found in Christ. With these memories and convictions stirring her heart, the idea for Just Breathe Ministries began.
This desire led Shea to organize her first event, called Just Breathe. That night, the pews were packed with women worshiping in song and leaning into God’s presence. Shea shared a message rooted in Ezekiel 37, the powerful story of God breathing life into dry bones. She spoke about how God can bring renewal and restoration to the desolate places in our lives. Her message was simple: all we have to do is trust Him and just breathe. As she looked around at the women connecting with the Lord, it hit her- this was exactly what God had been preparing her for all along. And that, my friends, was when JBM was born.
